There are 12 romance and marriage candidates in Fields of Mistria. Here's how the system works.

How Romance Works

Talk to every villager daily and give loved gifts to raise friendship. For romance candidates, hearts rise through 2, 4, 6 and 8 heart events. Since the 1.0 update, you can reach 10 hearts, craft an engagement ring, propose and get married.
