Who Can You Actually Marry?
All 12 candidates can be romanced, proposed to and married in the 1.0 release. Two are special:
- Caldarus and Seridia are story-gated — you must progress the main mines storyline before their romance paths open up.
- The other 10 can be met through ordinary town exploration from early game.
Not every single-looking villager is romanceable. The most common misconception is Olric — March's brother is friendly and giftable, but he is not one of the 12 marriage candidates (as of the current release).
How Romance Works
- Talk to your candidate every day and give liked or loved gifts to raise hearts.
- Heart events trigger every two hearts — watch your mailbox for letters.
- Reach 10 hearts to unlock the engagement ring recipe (sent by Elsie).
- Craft the ring, propose, and plan your wedding.
